I started reading the original Frank Herbert books in order and made it most of the way (75%?) through Chapterhouse before I gave up. Never made it to the Brian Herbert books, though my brother says they are fantastic. I really want to read Butlerian Jihad, but I'm just not sure if I want to invest time rereading the books I've already read, or if I should just read this one and screw any sort of sequence.
