I'm a dedicated left-handler, and I still mix 'right' and ' left' up. That was especially a problem for me when I had driving lessons.
The 'good' hand or foot is my left one. I would be a very bad adviser in an emergency-situations; so, my advice is (as with a lot of other things unfortunately): don't think twice.....jump right in....feet first.
