Thanks for the responses. I don't think my freeze was related to the Kindle doing anything else since it had been in screensaver mode for over 20 hours (I mostly read in bed at night). If it happens again, I'll try and remember to remove my Kindle from my lighted cover and see if it "unfreezes".
