Fighting is very much a skill. A little guy can easily take down a big guy who doesnt know what the hell he is doing. This is why I support my kids getting into martial arts and weight lifting and boxing even though their mother doesnt quite approve because of their ages (9 and 11).

I dont think I will ever change when it comes to being overprotective with my wife.
Is it illegal for me to step in and knock down a guy who I can prove made threatening speech towards my tiny wife and made me believe beyond a shadow of a doubt his next move was to hit her as he took a step closer? This is how I would try to spin it if I were arrested. My witnesses would say "we heard him scream at her and watched the spit fly from his mouth. Happy_terd saved the day."
