But go ahead and replace them if it bugs you.  I just want to make sure that you know that it's not a grammatical error and it's just a writing style you seem to be unaccustomed to. For myself growing up living in Ireland, half of the books on my shelves are American style and the other half British style and I really don't see the reason to declare one style to be more correct than the other. |
