Yeah I might do that. I came here for advice, didn't I ? Might as well follow the advice that was gracefully given to me.
I wish I knew if it's possible to do some kind of hard factory-restore reset on dr800 type devices, or maybe boot from an OS on an external card, like on the iliad. I guess IREX have taken their secret with them to the grave. Oh well...
I used my DR800SG for only two weeks, but it was long enough for me to know that
this is the reading device I want. Wish me luck in getting my hands on another one (at a reasonable price that is). Until then, it's back to reading my PDFs on the computer screen...
