Lighted cover since mid October and no problems yet. I hope yours is an isolated incident unrelated to the cover. I adore my lighted cover and would hate to see problems start popping up with them.

The one freeze I did have happened when my Kindle was out of it's cover. I had the USB cord connecting it to laptop. When I pulled it out of computer, Kindle froze. I was probably supposed to do it in a different order, or do the 'safely remove hardware' thing.
