This article makes me wonder even more about the $99 Kobo deal at Borders which has now been extended for the second time. Is this Borders' Hail Mary final desperation pass? Or is it too late already? If they were healthier, it could be a good move to jumpstart eBook sales and perhaps get them back into the race, but this late and still with so many retail outlets to support, I don't know.
