I can understand why they didn't use the cover in the commercials. If they did that, people might expect the Kindle to come with a cover. Showing the pocketing was a
very bad idea, though.
Although I can't picture a Kindle owner ever
allowing it, I'm not sure a dog licking the Kindle (especially on the back) is going to do anything to it. At least they didn't show the dog carrying it in its
mouth!
