Depends on the content.

Lets say I am interested only in the latest news.
I have 2 options when I choose how to watch the news.

Option No.1

B/W TV - No lag, pic is very crisp, excellent sound. Switching between programs is instantaneous.

Option no. 2
Colour TV - when you have fast moving scenes you see the trail of the sunject on TV, it lingers after lets say a car moved fast - ghosting.
If you get a static pic for longer than 20 second there is a risk of a permanent burn.

What do you choose?

Me? B/W TV.

The same logic applies to ebook reader.
I only need to read a nicely formated books. Magazins - No. Newspapers - No. eBooks - Yes.

For other needs I have super duper powerful PCs.

So far, I am aware about only 1 book I would like to read in colour on at least 9.7" book reader - The Da Vinci Code: The Illustrated Edition (Hardcover).

In other words I prefer a good quality B/W ebook reader to a lousy - laggy, slow, etc colour gadget.
