I stopped buying books years ago for 1. expense, and 2. no more room in bookcase, & 3. the small fonts made it uncomfortable.

Now with my ereader, I'm able to adjust the font to what I need it to be, I have over 170books on it, and I can find lots to read at prices I'm willing to pay.
