Yes, I keep short stories and podcasts on it; files range from 15 minutes to an hour. Sometimes, I just don't feel like reading print anymore, and would rather just listen, but not so much that I want to haul out my mp3 player for my current audiobook. Without an actual bookmarking feature, I wouldn't use it for full-length books (as well as the fact that audio uses up the battery faster). I wouldn't buy a 650 because of the audio function, but I do use it.
