I have a desktop computer, laptop computer, netbook, ipod touch and kindle. I have the kindle app on all, because I don't like to download books directly to my kindle. And, for awhile, you could only deDRM books through the kindle4PC. Now that there is a way to deDRM books I have bought without kindle4pc, I can't see using it.
