Here's a good reason to be able to employ DeDRM tools: over the holidays, both my daughter and I acquired Kindle 3s. Also, I received a gift which when returned, resulted in a gift card to Borders. My daughter received a gift card to B&N.
Hmm.. what to do with B&N and Borders gift cards and two Kindles? I know! Let's buy ebooks and read them on our Kindles!
And so we did, thanks to DeDRM software.
