Don't assume that I know what I am talking about, but if this is something that shows up at start-up, maybe there is a mention in the global.cfg file which can be found in system/config. I have there an ask4lang=0 and ask4licence=0, and those were things that I was asked when I initially booted the device.
I wasn't asked to register to bookland when I got the device, but when I registered the registration option in the menu turned into favorites. Do you have favorites in your menu?
