This question is 'on-topic' for this thread, because in considering the original topic "Is the Sony really that good?", I am sure that everyone will want to know about any books that just aren't available for the Sony, but which could be read on Kindle or another reader.

Sadly, the Wheel of Time series by the late Robert Jordan (and now Brandon Sanderson) is one example I found. I like the series but couldn't find the books in epub format anywhere
(I can't download books for the reader from Google Books, that seems to be USA only so far, and I'm in the UK). They only seem to be available as paper books or in Kindle format from Amazon. I ended up getting the new one from Amazon and 'converting' it for use on my 650.
If anyone does know where I can find them in native epub format, I'd love to know for when the next one in the series is out (due out about July-August this year if the last one is any indication).
