Okay. So I'm guessing it appears bold to everyone else, except the creator?

Yes, I saw that, but then I couldn't change the title and remove the bold marks. Wasn't sure if I needed to do something else.

What makes you think that?

Because the
internal directories, where the original slew of non english books and etc were at, didn't change, which, when taking it back to factory specs, I would think would. Also, as I said, I still had personal books on the internal directories after a factory reset, which should not happen.

Of course. Why should a firmware update (which installs to the onboard flash) trash the content of your external SD card?

It wouldn't. That's why I said
internal directories, not
external.

The book were on the internal SD card. There are "vendor updates" which reinstall them. Why they would disappear I can not say.

Yep, that's partly why I'm saying it's not installing correctly...

It most certainly does install completely.

Nope, not on mine, otherwise, I don't think I'd be seeing these small problems... It could be a unit error, user error or who knows. The upgrade is extremely easy to do, especially since I've now done it several times (!) so, newbie or not, I don't think it's me... but I could be wrong

Hint: "not working" is not an error-report useful to anybody. What program precisely does not work? How exactly did you install the program?
What precisely happens when you try to run it? What did you expect it to do?

Neither AEPReader or Coolreader will access the memory card. They did previous to the repack, nada since then. They are installed from a memory card to the unit in the normal manner through the file manager. While they open fine, when you try to go to the external sd card through either one, it's as if there's no card to go to.
