The book were on the internal SD card. There are "vendor updates" which reinstall them. Why they would disappear I can not say.

Hint: "not working" is not an error-report useful to anybody. What program precisely does not work? How exactly did you install the program?
What precisely happens when you try to run it? What did you expect it to do?
