As noted, I'm looking for the original firmware for the 701 IQ, not the updates (2.0.2 or 2.0.3).

I tried out the repacked firmware, and while exceptionally nice, some of my favorite programs wouldn't work on it. So, I decided to reflash my PB 701 back to original specs.

At least, that was the plan

I've tried the 2.0.2, the 2.0.3, reinstall, reset, factory reset, the repack, over and over, and for whatever reason, my 701 doesn't reset completely to factory specs. It looks like it does, however, under 2.0.2 firmware, I still have the ladybug wallpaper. Under both 2.0.2 and 2.0.3, I still have personal ebooks in the internal directories when connected to my pc. Also, all the original books are still gone.

The updated firmware simply isn't installing completely, even after installing and doing a factory reset. I wouldn't mind that much, except the programs that wouldn't work under the repack... are still not working under the updated firmware!

I'm hoping that someone might have the original developers firmware, the 'beginning' firmware, that I could hopefully try out to see if I can get my baby back 100%
