Honeycomb will be 3.0 and as of right now only optimized for Tablets.
How many apps are going to be ready upon launch? I don't know but that will be the direction Android Tablets will be going to be using come the next upcoming quarter. Android even said for manufactures to wait for Honeycomb, but Samsung was too knee deep into the Galaxy S. and forged ahead.
Many of those apps are either stretched to fit the screen or you have black bars. There aren't many running an OAR fitted for tablets.

Yeah $250 more, why do you think people on the Android forums and are going bonkers over the Nook color. Its $250, a simple root process and done. Full fledge tablet with no contract. For $250 less. With yours is stil a pay as go. You still have to buy data to use data. Unless you can just not buy any data plans and simple use the Wi Fi only. Can you do that? Or is Wifi disabled?
Rooting a NC is not a simple process and most of the common users do that following steps (without knowing what they are really doing) Even after rooting, you will never, ever get the same hardware like Galaxy Tab has: two cameras, faster processor, more memory, more responsive screen, lighter, etc, etc, etc. Yeah, about $250.00 more, but you get what you're paying for!

Yes, I personally had the option to say no and walk out of the door with my Galaxy Tab and no contract. Everything working, including Wifi and 3G capabilities, but I was looking for that 3G access.

Of course you must pay to get 3G access. You want it free, please tell me how?
