My comment was directed towards your statement(emphasis mine).

Point is you don't need an eInk to read Kindle books. As a matter of fact, I've been enjoying kindle books on my color nook

I don't know if that is the case, but that is not my experience. I have a book that I cannot download on my kindle device because of the limit max. Unfortunately it's a Topaz book so converting it is not so easy.

I'm thinking that all I have to do is call Amazon tech support and ask them to reset the license on that book. I just haven't gotten around to doing so.

But that gets back to the heart of the OP post. I think many folks just don't realize how important Tech support is. Often people focus on choice and price until they need tech support and that is when their nighmares begin.

It is the very reason why I think the Kindle is such a great product TS is part of the product.
