I'd like to suggest the following improvement of the el_pais.recipe:

from time import strftime
...
def get_cover_url(self):
   url = 'http://img5.kiosko.net/' + strftime("%Y/%m/%d") + '/es/elpais.750.jpg'
   return url

This adds the tiel page of the actual print edition as cover page (http://kiosko.net has daily cover pages of many newspapers worldwide).
