I never called Amazon with this problem.

I took it out of the case thinking maybe that was the problem... My case has 4 pieces of elastic holding the Kindle in. I fiddled around with it whenever I had a few minutes. Restarting, changing fonts, stuff like that. Nothing I tried seemed to work. It was very consistent. I would read a page, hit Previous then hit Next and would be on the next page. This worked for about twenty minutes without fail.
Then I put it back into the case. As soon as it was back in the case things started working correctly. I read for another 20 minutes last night and 10 this morning and had now issues.
Why it was weird and why it started working again is a mystery to me.
If/when it happens again, I'll call support.
