No, if the metadata is different the current page will be replaced with a new page. You only run into double metadata pages if the first was placed in a book by a version of calibre earlier then 0.6.50. |
It depends on the format you convert to, e.g.: if it's epub, the metadata jacket won't be duplicated but if it's mobi, it will.
