Importing multiple books

Hi,

I just got my first eBook Reader (Samsung E60). I heard a lot about Calibre, so I decided to give it a try (Mac OS 10.6.6).

I wanted to import into Calibre's Library my 150+ free epub files that came with the reader. So I transferred them from the reader to my hard drive, and tried to import them into the library asking Calibre to scan the corresponding folder.

The thing is that Calibre imports the 4-5 first ones ok, and then decides that every other one will be called 'Unknown'. I get a Python error saying that calibre couldn't read the metadata from one file. Weird, because I can import the very same file independently without any problem. In fact, single file importation seems to work with any of these files.

Do you have any idea why this is happening ? Could this be a bug concerning Mac OS X or maybe accentuated metadata (these are French books) ?
