Good advice, I live in the UK so if I bought a Sony reader I couldn't use it to connect to Sony's shop anyway. They are available on Ebay though for about £150 ($300). The problem for me is that I love reading thrillers, sci-fi and fantasy and I have about 3000 lit books on my PC. Only problem is I can't get used to reading on my PC even though I like the Microsoft reader. I like reading in bed for an hour before I go to sleep or wake up the wife So I'm thinking of a device like the Sony reader to make it easier. Looked at some websites that had the iRiver reader which has a double screen and looks good but I think it's only a prototype, so best I've seen for my budget seems to be the Sony Reader. As you say if it can read .lit files easy with a bit of converting then that will do for me. 3000 books will keep me busy for a few years So what reader would you recommend for me?
