Now 82 and dying of cancer. He can still do most things for himself, but has become thin and frail these past few months. I am mostly worried that he is getting more cantankerous. He has been staying with his 81 year old girlfriend, and I am worried about her as they have been arguing a lot and she is very stressed by it all. The threat to him is if he can't behave, he will have to come here, which I think he would rather not! Both bloke and myself would not put up with cranky behaviour

Hot and today 29.9°C in the kitchen now nearly 1pm. Sposed to reach 32°C (nearly 90°F).

All that nasty rain kept the summer at bay, but now the rain has stopped, summer is here with a vengeance!
