Second question, I have added a column called Editions for tracking
multiple editions of the same books. Is it possible to move the Custom
Metadata tab's single "Editions" entry to the Basic Metadata page, and
is there a way to script the Edition on to the end of the Title in the
first field? Like "Algebra Demystified, 2nd Ed." with the Editions
Column filled with 2nd Ed.

Dan
for #2 you could drag your editions col next to you Title col
, They all move around except for the Line Numbers.

Zero is a good Index number for No Series (position)
