Freeshadow, my regular dive computer does have user-replaceable batteries. But this is really more of a dive watch that also has some dive computer functions such as depth, time, logs, and a rapid assent alarm (that I can't hear with my ears, but everyone else within 100m can! I can tell when it goes off though as everyone around me begins to frantically look at all their computers at the same time wondering if they are the ones in alarm! )

But it makes me wonder why, if I can replace the batteries myself in a dedicated dive computer with no problems, why I can't change them in a simple watch?!?
