Problem:
Yesterday I loaded the jailbreak, and fonts hacks. Everything went well! Just now I went to NodDog's blog site and found a font that I liked, so I downloaded the font from there, and loaded the fonts into my Kindle 3's inkfonts/fonts directory. After that I ejected my Kindle and wanted to do a soft reboot, but the Menu button wouldn't work so I had todo a hard reboot. (I held the On/Off switch over for 15 seconds.)
Upon reboot, I can't get into my settings menu! I'm worried! I hope I didn't screw things up badly!
The good news is that I backed up the old (hack) fonts before I overwrote them with the new fonts that I got from NodDog's site. I haven't tried reloading them yet.
Can anybody tell me what I should do next? I feel like I'm in over my head!
EDIT: I should say that when I try to get into the Settings page, I get taken right back to the Home page.
EDIT EDIT: When I reinstall the fonts that came with the hack, I can get back into the Settings (and Experimental) menu. It's only when I replace the Serif_*.TTL files that I get locked out.
