Heating is turned on about 5 or 6 hours a day (not counting the weekend). It will heat up till it's 19 degrees in the kitchen at 6 in the morning, at 6:30 it will turn off again. And then it will heat till 19.5 in the afternoon (16:30) and turn off again at 20:00. Why having the heater on when you're not at home or in a room that doesn't even have a heater unit?

I was thinking about that, after that cold spell we had in december (temperatures dropped below freezing in the bedroom) and we couldn't get the bed warm. But then I looked the average lifespan of a woolen duvet. Which is between 5 and 10 years. And ours is about 9. So, I think we'll be going for a new duvet by next winter. We bought a nice quilt for now...
