I still have plastic cups, bowls and plates from a birthday party of my daughter's over 10 years ago. I HATE throwing things away, wounds my little Girl Scout soul, but I am realistic and when there is a house full of teens get plastic stuff. but! I keep washing and reusing!

And the heating is turned off during the coldest part of the night, so our bill is lower.

since the contractor ruined my central heating along with everything else in this house I only have those electric heaters that circulate oil through them. my electric bill in the summer averages $33 a month and in the winter I am up to a whopping $65
