I noticed last night that some of the vollies even came interstate, I think all the way from Melbourne and Perth! I don't know if you follow Meshel Laurie on Twitter, Sneaky, but it's rather humbling to watch random little calls for action or items, often preceded by donations of the "Does-anyone-need-a-[insert good/service/hand]" variety, and watching little connections of necessity and charity being made and information being disseminated and people being found and so on... [hold on...I've got something in my eye...shut up!]

In weather news, it's hot today, and we went on a big walk sans sunscreen. The back of my neck has paid the price.
