I don't know that it's expanded my reading range that much since I'm pretty much genre-oriented at the moment, but it has introduced me to some new authors in my genre of the moment.

At this point in time, I find that I'm using books like comfort foods - I like my favorites and I'm not really in the mood to try new things. So indie authors are getting a short shrift at the moment.

The key things that I love best about my ereaders are the increased font sizes, which make reading so much easier in my current circumstances, and the fact that I can carry and re-read an entire series.
