Ah understood, I personally don't see the touchscreen as a 'problem' not perfect but considering what I get for the price I don't mind. I'll probably try some rubber tipped implement as a stylus to stop smudging up the screen with my fingers which bugs me more than any missed swipe/icon push.

I've been using
Derwent rubber shapers as a replacement for a stylus and I'm quite satisfied. I'm even getting used to the fan on top of the pointed shaper.
I will have to get another set to use for my drawing though.
