I managed to properly twist my ankle today.
At the back of the store, right in front of the rack where we keep the more special lightbulb high up, there is a spot in the floor that has been damaged for as long as I can remember. Over the years the spot has grown bigger and deeper (about 2-3cm now). I know the spot is there but I regularly twist my ankle when I step in it or on the edge, especially when I get off the ladder/steps my foot seems to gravitate towards the hole.

Usually it just hurts a bit for a short time but today I stepped on the edge and twisted my ankle hard and heard/felt a crunch. It was busy which was good because as long as I keep moving it doesn't hurt much, but it's also bad because I didn't have time to cool it. My father thought I was exaggerated when I told him it hurt, I showed him after we closed and he was very impressed by how much it was swolen and how purple it was.

I just hope that I can go to the Amsterdam Hermitage with my sister on Monday, I was really looking forward to the day out.
