Newegg's FAQ mentions being able to buy the extended warranties within 30 days
of the purchase.

Newegg is a great company and I have been buying from them since they started. However, their warranty costs about the same for 1 year extra as the Squaretrade version charges for 2 years extra. Also, Squaretrade has a very trouble-free system for dealing with problems with shipping paid both ways. Lastly, Squaretrade starts immediately and provides additional coverage over and above the basic warranty from the manufacturer.
