I was afraid it would make the Kindle heavier (the amazon lighted cover). My cheap $4 plastic mead cover is very lightweight. Guess I will try one of my other pathway lights that clip on.

The mighty bright travel light was the best, but as you also found the gooseneck no longer works after a while. Who wants to buy a new light every few months, not me.
