A lot better than 'Thunderbird,' 'Golden Spur,' or cheap muscatel but not quite up there with a good wine from a known house in a good vintage.

Actually, Lipton Gold Label as loose leaf tea is not a bad drink at all. It's a blend of Ceylon teas, and without a distinct taste of its own. Far better than the Lipton's tea bag sold in the States. I'll go out on a limb and suggest that as there are two different Lipton's, (Lipton, and Lipton Unilever) that there is a big difference in the blending.
