Hi CaraM,
I love the picture of your cat. I live in Glendale right now. I used to live in Peoria, and in Black Canyon City before that. I like all those areas. I moved to AZ from Illinois because of the cold weather in IL. Best move I ever made. But after 30 years, Costa Rica's lush green is very enticing. AZ has green but it's not the same. If you're thinking of moving to AZ, the west valley has the best house deals, more house for the money. If money is not an issue then you want the east valley, Scottsdale, or Paradise Valley.
I hope your husband agrees to move. I think you will love it.
