Oh! Some people around here don't like possums. I suppose I just like to live and let live. I got into trouble today at the pub for saying that snakes need sanctuary from the floods as well. I occasionally play my music too loud for the neighbors.....but at least they don't beat me over the head with a shovel or swerve to hit me in their truck and yet my noise is much louder.

That is so funny! We have that problem here sometimes with tree squirrels. And one time I had a big den of flying squirrels take up residence in the attic above the apartment I lived in at the time. I could hear them scratching around as they started to wake up in the evenings, and if I went out on the balcony around dusk I could watch them as them popped out from under the eaves, one by one, and sailed over to the trees.
