Not a rant anymore (because I'm sure I have used my limit of rants about the ice here

), but I can see the most amazing thing when I look out the window this morning! It's still early, about 6:30 a.m., and the areas of icepack that had a little melting yesterday and froze again overnight are brilliantly reflective under the streetlights. I wasn't even quite sure what I was seeing -- it looks like all the grassy areas have been covered with giant sheets of plastic wrap, or that they are underwater. I wish I had a camera handy that could capture it.
