Is the issue that the bulk of your books of interest are only available in Kindle format or is it a price issue? Just trying to understand what was the initial attraction to the device and why it's not keeping you interested.

No, the books are available in Kindle format and epub. It's just that I find myself nerdishly attracted to playing with a cool new device and getting it to do things that it wasn't originally aimed at doing. It is afterall a book reader for reading B&N books (helping them thereby to make money and avoid bancrupcy). But, then rooting it makes it into a different beast. Who wants to just read books now, when you can play with 4 different calendar systems, a dozen todo lists, synker, the Android Market..... ah and games. It has become a monster, filling up my every non-working moment.... a mini-me NookDev, an android.........................
