I'm coming from a VGA pocket pc, and while the screen is decent, it was... not quite as crisp looking as I was expecting. It was noticeable, but after a short time, I became used to it, and now it's not a problem.
If I remember correctly (muzzy headed from a cold) from my searching that this has one of the higher resolutions in this price range, along with mostly better reviews than others in the same range or cheaper.
It's not as fast as a Color Nook (coworker has one) but then again, my PB can do more than his, albeit, not as much as others. It's an acceptable trade-off for me
