Mate, don't get angry, get even. If you don't like the current DXG specs, don't buy it, return it, or re-sell it. It does not seem like you have a DXG, but I might be wrong.
If you have an earlier K2 or Dx then I guess the latest upgrade is a bonus. I hear that many have gotten better screen contrast, faster page turns, and a more stable operating system. Why would you expect more?
If you have a DXG then the latest upgrade may be a bit of a let-down since it still lacks a few of the K3 pdf options and a better web browser.
To be honest, I don't see any significant improvement on my DXG with this latest update (pdf's are maybe a little darker). It still works very well, just like it did when I bought it +4 months ago. The screen contrast is still much better than my old K2i and Dx Kindles.
My wife has a K3 wifi/3G and I like my DXG a lot better. I prefer the simpler DXG text-based Web Browser for the simple, texted-based ones that I normally use (news, sports, weather).
