Smile Hi everyone...

Hello from New Zealand! I have just joined this forum. I purchased a Kindle 3G + Wi-Fi in October last year and purchased my Sony PRS-950 just before Christmas. I have wanted a Kindle for years, and am now a confirmed e-book/e-reader addict

For the past few years I have been reading relatively unknown (well, at least to me!) “Golden Age” crime/mystery/detective books. After consulting a few reference books on the subject I realise I have many more years of great reading ahead.

One of the things I have discovered very quickly is that the formatting of e-books matters to me. I have been demonstrating various e-readers and tablets etc to people, and find myself saying, “Hang on, I’ll just find a nicely formatted book” before I show them the features of the device.

I was very happy to find well formatted books by some of my favourite authors on this site. In due course, I would like to create and upload some e-books from (out of copyright) physical books that I own. But I need to research, practice and master a few skills first
