It's very thin. And when it's hot, it is awkward to handle, though once the tea cools down to my preferred drinking temperature (which is rather cool) then it's great. The site says the glass is borosilicate, which is supposed to be more durable, but my brain sees "thin" and immediately interprets as "handle like eggshells".

My already preferred and favorite tea mug is actually a very thick Irish Coffee mug that I paid all of $2.50 for at Walmart. So I think, as I said, that I might just continue to use that for actual drinking, and the new cup/set for infusing only.
