No, I love both my Kindle's. I had one that got replaced (wihin a week from overseas!) and got a 2nd for my birthday. Yeahhhh.....
It just is a lovely ereader.
It's weak point is indexing: did you follow the thread in the Kindleforum about it?
Don't load more than 100/150 books in one go-----keep it charged while indexing----check after a few hours if indexing is done by random search (= just type axhsn...and press 'search').....should come up (after a bit of waiting) with 0 items......then on to the next. If it's still indexing, you might wait a bit, or press to see which books are still indexing. These days I just throw/delete them off my Kindle (quick check is it really 0 items now) and go on. You might try these books again or format again mobi-mobi with Calibre or such. For Amazon-books you can email them; they'll reimburse you.
