Good to have your company, Gognym. Although out of production now, you'll still find 505s popping up the the 'Flea Market' forum here (used, refurbed or unused). If my 505 ever went down, I'd never consider a Kindle because of its Mobi formatting (you won't be able to convert your ePub books if a title carries DRM without illegally stripping it) and, of course, Kindle isn't compatible with books from a public ebook lending library.
