I treat my screen like I do my eye-glasses. First I lightly wipe off the dust or large particles. Then I will either use a lightly water-moistened cloth wipe the prints or marks pressing again lightly. Then I dry it off with a dry edge of the cloth. Occassionally I will use eye-glass cleaner on it in light amounts.

Always press lightly and you will not have to worry about scratching the screen and if you can, try to avoid touching it as much as possible and it will stay cleaner longer.

I do this with all my screens: laptop, computer, camera, Phone, mp3 player, and reader. This method has never failed me.
